Nai Sun Couture is more than a fashion brand — it’s a celebration of identity, transformation, and fearless self-expression. Founded by 孫鼐 (Nai Sun), the brand reflects zir journey across industries and zir belief that life is a boundless experiment.

Before launching the label, Nai worked as a graphic designer, helping brands shape their personalities and dress their products with visual identities and packaging. At the time, ze was still discovering zir own character, channeling creativity into others while not yet fully knowing zirself. The pandemic, coupled with years of lived experience, became a turning point — a moment of clarity that reawakened zir unfinished dream from university: to design fashion. This time, it was no longer about dressing brands but about crafting garments that embody zir true identity. Nai Sun Couture was born as a continuation of this journey, translating personal growth into bold, expressive clothing.

The radical “艹” in the Chinese character "花" (huā) means "flower." In Chinese culture, flowers often symbolize beauty, growth, and the cycle of life. The founder only truly lived as zir most desired self when Nai approached zir late 30s. Ze believes that without the earlier years of zir life, ze would not have become who ze is today. Just as in Chinese the character "花" cannot exist without the “艹” radical, the brand’s logo embodies the idea that every stage of life — past and present — is essential to full blossoming.

We all deserve a second chance. With age, we learn to see ourselves clearly, and through that understanding, we redefine what our clothes mean. Like the Chinese character “flower” (花), which needs the grass radical (艹) to bloom, our past shapes us into a fully reblooming flower.
